Dr. Gregory’s new bride offers the ladies of You are married to medicine the taste of Sweet Tea as he joins the Season 10 cast.
Before the season premiere on November 5, Lateasha Lunceford, nicknamed Sweet Tea, talked about her journey to marry Dr. G also shared more of their love story The Daily Dish.
Dr. How did Gregory and his new wife Lateasha Lunceford meet?
The two met on Instagram after Lateasha made the first move by logging into her DMs.

“I said what happened and he responded and since then you know the FaceTime calls…which turned into a flight to Atlanta, we met, we hit it off,” said Lateasha.
Although, Lateasha knew “little about (You are married to medicine),” some friends told him about Gregory.
“I knew he wanted a family, and I was ready for a family,” she said.

Dr. Gregory, a psychiatrist, was previously married to Quad Webb and they divorced in 2019. The new couple’s big day will be shown next season along with the “ups and downs” of wedding planning, Lateasha teased. Marriage is the source of her biggest stress this season. “I’m turning into Bridezilla,” she joked.
“It was very stressful,” he added. “Filming and planning a wedding, and then I had a lot of difficulties … obstacles with my wedding planner.”
But the newlyweds entered the honeymoon phase after their wedding in April.
“I enjoy getting married, just coming home, having someone to come home to, who cares for someone, who cares,” said Lateasha. “It feels good.”
As a new player herself, Lateasha said it was really fun hanging out with the other ladies You are married to medicine.
“We already had a relationship before I joined the show, in a way, but we’ve become very close,” she said. “We faced a lot of difficulties when we were all in the same room and, you know, the old history with Gregory started to come up and it was difficult to deal with it.
“I just tried to get along with this group of women,” he added. “Just trying to help them evaluate whether they should keep (Quad) as a friend or not.”

Is Dr. Do Gregory or Lateasha Lunceford have any children?
The couple currently has no children together (or from his previous marriage), but Lateasha told The Daily Dish they plan to do so.

He opened up about their desire to have children, saying that they are busy trying to have a family. Lateasha also shared that she had surgery this past summer for endometriosis.
“I had surgery in August so now we’re ready, you know, ready to go,” Lateasha said. “I pray for a healthy child.”
