You will find out hidden treasure chests throughout Super Mario RPG, floating invisibly in the tone of different rooms. With some tools, you can be notified when you’re in a room with one of these chests, but even with those tools, it can be difficult to pinpoint the exact locations.
To that end, we have the details where you can find all the hidden treasures Super Mario RPG.
Right in the basement of the item shop in Mushroom Kingdom, you will find Signal Ring Utility, which won’t give you any stat boosts, but will ping you whenever the room you’re in contains a resource. Later on in Nimbus Land, you’ll find an upgraded version of this device that will listen to you as you approach wherever the hidden chest is.
The talking treasure chest located on the top floor of the mayor’s house in Monstro Town will also tell you how many hidden gems you’ve found, which is helpful if you’re trying to find all the hidden gems Super Mario RPG.
