Mortal Kombat 1 – Invasion Season 2 Klues Guide and Solutions

  • November 11, 2023

Attack mode entered Mortal Kombat 1 is back for a second season, and with more themed battles, more cosmetics to unlock, and more secrets heads (clues) to solve. Season 2 of Invasions, i Time for Blood The month is themed around Nitara (portrayed by Megan Fox) as she tries to raise the vampires to ruler of the realms, (or something like that).

As in season 1 of Invasions, in every stage there will be certain fighting areas that lead to chests where the path is blocked by obstacles. The only way to remove this obstacle is to try to identify and solve the path associated with the encounter.

These Klues will give you hints about what you need to do during the fight to clear the way. They are all cryptic to some degree, and many clues are anagrams that you need to decipher first. If you have a problem, this guide should point you in the right direction.

Before we get started, it’s also important to note that you can now press L3 to increase your character’s movement speed in attack mode – a very welcome new feature.

Mortal Kombat 1 – Invasions Mode Clues Guide – Season 2: Blood Moon Season

Fire Temple – BODY BLENDA

Mortal Kombat 1 - Invasion Season 2 Clues Guide and Solutions - Fire Temple - Body Blender

At the eastern end of the Fire Temple (the camera keeps rotating, so it’s tricky to get your bearings), to the left of the Tower, you’ll find an area called “Sticks and Stones” on the left.

The Clue for this node is “Body Blender”, which is the reference Kenshi’s first death, “Blended”. You will need to win the fight with Kenshi like Kenshi, then he said death.

Here’s how you make Blended: (While at the top Close: Forward, Down, Down (Triangle or Y))

Fire Temple – SPLISH SPLASHMortal Kombat 1 - Invasion Season 2 Clues Guide and Solutions - Fire Temple - Splash Splash

This one is set in an area called “Top Killers”, which is a survival game where you face three very brutal fighters Mortal Kombat lore, at least traditionally – Baraka, Mileena, and Sindel.

Given the clue, “Splish Splash”, it’s pretty easy to figure out that you’ll need to use everyone’s favorite water wizard. The rain in this battle. But what else?

No, it’s not death, you’ll actually need to use any Rain’s Inhumanity to open the barrier here.

Fortunately, every character in the game has a simple default attack that is activated by simply completing the game uppercut (Down + (Triangle or Y))but make sure to press the (Triangle or Y) button. here.

Additionally, please remember that the ultimate shortcut must finish your enemy BEFORE the “Finish Him” screen, and will only work if don’t block in the final round.

So make sure that the last blow you deal with Sindel in this fight is on that uppercut (remember to hold the button!), and when you trigger the evil screen, you know you’ll have done it right.

Sun Do Festival – YZARK TIHSTABMortal Kombat 1 - Invasion Season 2 Clues Guide and Solutions - Sun Do Festival - YZARK TIHSTAB

This one is found at the beginning of the Sun Do Festival stage, in a scene called “Here We Go” that includes a fight with Reiko and Goro.

Understanding the sentence here is very easy, just read it backwards. YZARK TIHSTAB translates to BATSHIT CRAZY.

Who is the battiest fighter of all Mortal Kombat 1? Why, Nitara is of course, the vampire you’re based on this entire season of Invasions.

To break the barrier, you need to defeat Reiko again to make Nitara’s death, Vaternus KomBATwhen he called a bunch of bats.

It can be done with the following button combination: (While Medium width: Down, Down, Back + (Square or X))

Sun Do Festival – OMHE NRUMortal Kombat 1 - Invasion Season 2 Clues Guide and Solutions - Sun Do Festival - OMHE NRU

We stumbled upon this node after exiting the treasure portal, but you can come across it another way. The node is called “Who’s Next” and features a fight between Smoke and Jax.

The clue, “OMHE NRU”, is more complicated than the jumble of the last word, and is an anagram. The answer? RUN HOME.

You might think this is related to General Shao and his giant hammer, but it actually refers to Darius Kameo and his death, Armed & Dangerouswhere he grabs an opponent’s arms and takes his head off with them.

You will need to do Armed & Dangerous on Smoke to break the barrier. The key combination is: (While Medium range: Down, Back, Forward, + (R1 or RB))

It is important to note that the chest behind this barrier is a myth Windbreaker Talisman. This should be your go-to Talisman to equip. Trust me.

Living Forest – BESOSMortal Kombat 1 - Invasion Season 2 Clues Guide and Solutions - Living Forest - BESOS

Deep in the living forest you will find this Klue assigned to an area called “Let’s Get Krazy”, which involves fighting Geras.

Given all that has gone before, you might think that “BESOS” is an anagram… but that would be too easy, of course. What about a different language?

It turns out, BESOS is actually the Spanish word for “KISS“.

And who is it Mortal Kombat 1 list has a kiss? why is that Sonya Cameo, of course!

You will need to defeat Geras again get rid of him with the death of Sony Kiss. It can be done by adding: (While Medium Range: Back, Forward, Down + (R1 or RB))

The Living Forest – KETCHUP RETURNED

Mortal Kombat 1 - Invasion Season 2 Klues Guide and Solutions - Living Forest - KETCHUP

Even deep in the living forest, if you come to the edge of the cliff with a good view, you will meet the klue KETCHUP of SPICY in the place called “Ebumnyamie” which includes the Reptile.

This is the key to a great brain. Basically you need to be aware that raw Reptile blood is acidic (maybe?), and that it needs to be diluted to just goo. There are several ways to do this of course, but the best way is to use the Sektor Kameo Brutality, called Fire and Forget.

Unlike Fatalities, you can only do Brutalities if you’ve unlocked them, so before you can get past this barrier you’ll need Raise Sector’s Mastery to Level 2 if you haven’t already, to turn on Fire and Forget.

From there, all you need to do is make sure that the last song you bring to Reptile in a fight is to throw forward (Forward + (L1 or LB)), then press (Down, Down) while casting. Tricky, huh?

Laboratory of Shang Tsung – EHT GIB GNAK YROETH

Mortal Kombat 1 - Invasion Season 2 Klues Guide and Solutions - Shang Tsung's Laboratory - EHT GIB GNAK YROETH

On the first floor of Shang Tsung’s Laboratory, in the room directly ahead as you start this stage you’ll find this clue in a scene called “I’m Hip I’m Cool”, featuring Johnny Cage, and located directly in front of the Forge node.

I think this might be a typo on Netherealm’s part. If we read each word backwards, EHT GIB GNAK YROETH translates as THE BIG KANG HTHEORY, where I think they meant to make it “THE BIG KANG TERRI

Anyway, which character is open Mortal Kombat 1’s The roster has the power to create the world, and it happens to have the last name ‘Kang’? Liu Kang, of course!

To break this barrier, all you need to do is defeat Johnny as Liu Kangagain make his death, Double Dragon.

To make Double Dragon, use the following input: (While climbing Close: Down, Forward, Back + (Circle or B))

(Update: A kind reader named Brian wrote to tell me that this Klue can be solved by doing another Liu Kang song, Black Hole (While Up). close: Back, Forward, Back + (X or A)). I can’t vouch for this myself as I’ve already done it, but give it a try!)

Tarkatan Colony – PCAM TOBO

Mortal Kombat 1 - Invasion Season 2 Clues Guide and Solutions - Tarkatan Colony - PCAM TOBO

At the beginning of the Tarkatan Colony you will probably meet PCAM TOBO, located in the area called “Fire It Up” which includes fighting The Big King Theory himself, Liu Kang.

This word jumble actually requires you to unscramble the anagram AND read it backwards.

What does PCAM TOBO mean? BOOT CAMP, of course. Naturally, it is the biggest boot Mortal Kombat The universe belongs to Jax, who is Kameo in MK1.

To break this barrier, finish off Liu Kang with it Jax’s death, Big Bootwhere he somehow grows into a kaiju-sized man and stomps on your enemy.

Definitely one of the fewest deaths in the game, it can be done with the following button combination: (During Remote: Down, Down, Down, (R1 or RB))

Tarkatan Colony – MIND BLOWN

Mortal Kombat 1 - Invasion Season 2 Klues Guide and Solutions - Tarkatan Colony - mind blowing

Further on in the Tarkatan Colony you will meet a Klue MIND BLOWN in a place called “Heavy Hitter”, which includes Kung Lao.

This is a little unclear – it is referred to Death of Motaro Kameo, called Brain Blast, and features him sticking his cybernetic tail into your opponent’s head and using a laser to blow it up, sort of. The mind is blown!

Hopefully, if you are playing Season 2 of Invasions you should have put enough time into the game to unlock Motaro. Motaro is the last Kameo you will unlock in the game, when your game profile comes up Level 25.

You will need to perform a Brain Blast on Kung Lao to break the barriers. The input button is: (While Medium Range: Forward, Down, Down, (R1 or RB))

Tarkatan Colony – ACID REFLUX

Mortal Kombat 1 - Invasion Season 2 Clues Guide and Solutions - Tarkatan Colony - Acid Reflux

Towards the end of your time in the Tarkatan Colony you will find this Klue and a barricade within the colony itself. ACID REFLUX is attached to a site called “Bad Timing”, which includes Scorpion.

This clue is straightforward. Acid, of course, refers to Reptile. His first death, Indigestion, fits this trajectory perfectly. It’s the one where the Reptile turns into a lizard form, eats the enemy whole, and cleans them up again.

So all you need to do is to do it Reptile’s Indigestion Fatality in Scorpio

The key combination is: (While Medium width: Forward, Back, Down, (Circle or B))

Rampart – A4B4D4E4

Mortal Kombat 1 - Invasion Season 2 Klues Guide and Solutions - Rampart - A4B4D4E4

At the top of the Rampart walkway, you’ll find this trail as you walk around. It is located in a scene called “Awaken” which includes a fight with Li Mei.

So how can you explain this thing? Well, if you look at the obvious pattern – A4, B4, etc – you will notice that something is missing.

C4 you are lost. And if you’ve played enough modern military-themed video games, you’ll know that C4 is a type of plastic explosive (isn’t that the kind of knowledge video games give us?).

Who has C4 in the Mortal Kombat 1 the list? Why is everyone’s favorite cop, Stryker, a cameo character. His death, the Safety Vest, involves him haphazardly strapping explosives to your enemies before detonating them.

So what you need to do is to do it Stryker’s Kameo Fatality to Li Mei. The combination is (From Medium Range: Forward, Down, Forward, (R1 or RB))

Rampart – BRUTAL BUDDY

Mortal Kombat 1 - Invasion Season 2 Clues Guide and Solutions - Rampart - Brutal Buddy

Located in Rampart’s second largest location, BRUTAL BUDDY Klue is once again on the local high street, in a place called “Within Reach”. Includes a fight with Kitana.

The clue itself, BRUTAL BUDDY, is straightforward – simple be cruel to any Kameo character. I did it with Stryker, for reference.

The easiest Kameo Brutalities to use, as long as you’ve leveled your Kameo up to Level 2, is the throwing brutality, common to all Kameos. Just do a forward throw (Forward + (L1 or LB)) and press (Down, Down) while doing it.

If you were able to complete the Sektor brutality mission earlier in Invasion, you shouldn’t have any problems here.

Rampart – PHI PHO WIRRAOR

Mortal Kombat 1 - Invasion Season 2 Clues Guide and Solutions - Rampart - Phi Pho Wirraor

After obtaining the Bloody Fangs by defeating the final boss of this season, Nitara, you will gain access to the previously locked Bloody Gates in each stage.

Behind the Blood Gate in the Rampart is a node called “Punchable Face” which includes a Klue, a PHI PHO WIRRAOR, and a boss battle with Havik.

This one is a bit tricky, and I have to admit I needed some help getting it right! (Thanks Reddit). The phrase doesn’t clearly mean “HIP HOP WARRIOR”, but the associated action doesn’t involve death or brutality in the way you might expect.

Instead, you will have a choice Mortal Kombat 1’s hero character (that Reikodescribed as “Soldier” on his character page), and you will need jump several times during the game. I’m not sure exactly how many times – more than 20!

Here’s a tip: The way I ended up finishing this Klue was to end the fight once with my favorite character, so I could reach the nearby chest. Inside that chest is a charm called Blood Moonfall which rains 60 meteors on your opponent and ends up pinned. Good!

I went back to the Punchable Face node and selected Reiko and the Blood Moonfall talisman. When the battle started, I started it, and when my enemy was pinned by meters, I jumped every time in the corner until the meteors were finished. I repeated this again in the second round, and all in all I think I passed at least 100 jumps before defeating Havik.

Hope that helps someone!

Sun Do Festival – ROFST BTEITN

Mortal Kombat 1 - Invasion Season 2 Clues Guide and Solutions - Sun Do Festival - ROFST BTEITN

This is another Clue that’s only accessible after you’ve earned the Bloody Fangs, and can be passed through the blood gate at the Sun Do Festival. The clue is found in a place called “Who’s Jennifer??” – almost a nod to the movie Jennifer’s Body, where Megan Fox (who also plays Nitara Mortal Kombat 1) also plays a vampire of sorts. The battle at the node is, of course, Nitara.

The clue ROFST BTEITN is itself an anagram of FROST BITTEN, and although there are two frost users Mortal Kombat 1 list, I was able to crack this one by using the Snow Kameo’s Brutality.

You’ll need Frost leveled up to Level 2, at which point his brutal throw, Pin Cushion, can be used. It’s brutal to throw forward too, and it’s done by pressing (Forward + (L1 or LB)), then (Down, Down) while casting.
