‘ManningCast’ guests Week 9: Arnold Schwarzenegger leads the scene

The “ManningCast” wasn’t there to watch the Lions dismantle the Raiders last week, but will be watching the Jets host the East Rutherford Chargers in Week 9.

Tennessee alum Peyton Manning and Ole Miss alum Eli Manning will be on hand to witness the classic East Coast vs. West Coast on Monday as the Jets look to move to 5-3 on the year and the Chargers try to catch up. .500 (and stay within range of the Chiefs).

Where there’s a “ManningCast,” there are high-profile guests — and this week is no exception. Leading the way is the action film of the ’80s and the former Governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger, who received his announcement from Peyton’s opinion about some of Eli’s mischievousness and the emergence of “The Shortcut”.

Schwarzenegger, as usual, was a good sport about the horrible idea.

The “ManningCast” of course, is accompanied by a main stream that includes Joe Buck and Troy Aikman, in their second year of assisting the “Monday Night Football” team. Peyton and Eli are in their third season.

• Guest 3: Keyshawn Johnson, former NFL wide receiver

Omaha Productions announced the full ManningCast guest list on Monday, and it includes Hollywood star power in addition to its former NFL players.

Arnold Schwarzenegger will be the first guest. A former governor of California, Schwarzenegger is of Austrian descent and was a prominent movie star in the 1980s and 1990s.

Schwarzenegger was announced Sunday before the NFL draft began.

The next guest will be Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence. Lawrence was an NFL-ready player coming out of Clemson, as he led the Tigers to a national championship in 2018. He made his first Pro Bowl last season, and hopes to lead the Jaguars to a second straight AFC South title this year. Lawrence was part of the Jaguars’ thrilling comeback win over the Chargers last season.

Finally, Jet and Buccaneer Keyshawn Johnson will be on the air. Produced by Jets No. 1 overall in 1996, Johnson has connections to both sides, as he was raised in Los Angeles and played for USC. We will have to tune in to see who is pulling this game.

The “ManningCast” will be in its traditional home on ESPN2 on Monday night, with action beginning at 8:13 pm ET. Game streaming options include the ESPN app and Fubo, the latter of which offers a free trial to potential subscribers.
