The Los Angeles Lakers enjoyed one of the most satisfying wins in a long time as they finally defeated the LA Clippers on Wednesday night.
The Lakers dropped an 11-game regular season streak to the Clippers but were able to end that streak with a thrilling 130-125 overtime victory. LeBron James had his best game of the 2023-24 season as he dropped 35 points to lead the team in scoring.
James later admitted that playing the Clippers is more than just another game considering the rivalry between the two teams based in Los Angeles and he made sure that the fans who were in love with the gold will not lose to them again. The crowd certainly enjoyed watching the confetti and streamers fall at the end of the night and were understandably excited to beat another Western Conference rival.
As usual with marquee home games, the Lakers hosted the popular K-pop girl group LE SSERAFIM. Lakers legend Magic Johnson got a chance to meet up-and-coming K-pop stars before the game against the Clippers, with. The NBA:

In the short clip, Johnson can be seen greeting each girl and congratulating them on releasing their latest single “Perfect Night.” Johnson then asked to take a picture with the team and then stood up to show the media a smile.
LE SSERAFIM member Yunjin commented on the appearance of the Lakers game when he posted a photo on his Instagram account of custom gold jerseys with the names of each member. The stars wore jerseys for the game, much to the delight of the fans.
Paying tribute to the K-pop group, Laker Girls also performed a routine in their song “ANTIFRAGILE” which LE SSERAFIM seemed to enjoy as they watched from the sidelines.
All in all, fans and the team can definitely say it was a great night considering the Lakers won and can kick off their four-game road trip with some momentum.
