BTOB Parts Parting With Cube Entertainment After 11 Years

  • November 11, 2023

On November 6, Cube Entertainment announced the expiration of BTOB’s exclusive contracts with an official statement:

Hello. This is Cube Entertainment.

We are issuing an official statement regarding BTOB’s future activities.

Before the expiration of BTOB’s special contracts, the agency conducted careful discussions with the members for a long time, and as a result, we decided not to renew according to the agreement.

Thus, Cube Entertainment and BTOB’s Seo Eunkwang, Lee Minhyuk, Lee Changsub, Im Hyunsik, Peniel, and Yook Sungjae are ending our long journey of 11 years together.

After making their debut on March 21, 2012, BTOB was established as a boy group representing the third generation of K-pop through their outstanding singing skills and popular music.

We send our thanks to BTOB, who have shown performances that we should be proud of for a long time as singers (artists) under Cube Entertainment, and MELODY (BTOB’s official fan group) who have always been BTOB’s strength by their side.

Although the relationship between Cube Entertainment and BTOB will unfortunately end here, we will wholeheartedly support the new growth and bright future of BTOB members who have unlimited potential.

Please send unwavering love to BTOB who will be embarking on another journey.

Thank you.

BTOB debuted under Cube Entertainment in 2012. In 2018, all members of BTOB renewed their exclusive contracts with Cube Entertainment.
