Syracuse basketball 2024 four-star commit Elijah Moore and 2025 five-star recruiting target Tyler Jackson are among several highly rated prospects expected to compete at a showcase in New York City later this month.
The event is called the 2023 Hustle & Heart Classic, and will take place on November 10 and November 11 at Baruch College in the Big Apple, with several teams that are part of the Atlanta-based professional league Overtime Elite planning to participate.
According to a report from college basketball insider Adam Zagoria, the Hustle & Heart Classic will feature two Overtime Elite teams from Atlanta, the RWE and City Reapers, as well as two Northeast All-Star teams called the “Heart” and “Hustle.”
In addition to Elijah Moore and Jackson, Zagoria’s report said 2024 five-star guard Ian Jackson, a former ‘Cuse recruit who has committed to North Carolina, will also play in the show.

The 6-foot-4 Moore, a four-star guard and top-60 national recruit who committed to the Orange in late January, transferred this season, along with Ian Jackson, from Cardinal Hayes High School in the Bronx. , NY, at Our Savior Lutheran School in the Bronx.
Savior Lutheran serves as the JellyFam within the Overtime Elite, although Zagoria writes that in the 2023 Hustle & Heart Classic, both Moore and Jackson deserve Northeast squads.
According to the Overtime Elite website, the two players on the City Reapers are 2025 five-star point guard Tyler Jackson and 2026 combo guard Parker Robinson, both of whom have recruiting ties to ‘Cuse.
The 6-foot-3 Jackson, the nation’s top 20 player in his class, received a basketball scholarship from Syracuse in late April. He has expressed interest in making an official visit to ‘Cuse in the future. He moved on to Overtime Elite from Saint Frances Academy in Baltimore.
The 6-foot-5 Robinson, who transferred to Overtime Elite from Good Counsel High School in Olney, Md., visited Hill in late August to play in the Orange’s annual Elite Camp.
